Planning Process Spreadsheet

This feature is designed to give the users a graphical view into the planning process for a group of people.

Here is a picture of what that spreadsheet will look like.

The Clients are listed down the left of the sheet. Across the top you will see the Planning Process steps in alphabetical order.  Then each cell indicates what the status if of that process for that client.

Green The step has been noted on an action and the last action it was noted on was completed. The number in Parenthesis is the number of actions that have been tagged with that process step.
Yellow The step has been tagged to an action, but the action is not completed.
Red There have been no actions tagged to that step, so the system assumes that it has not been started for that client
N/A This indicates that for this client, you have excluded this step from the process.  (See below for more details.)

If you click on the Client's name hyperlink, you will go to a list of all of the action's that have been tagged for that client.  This will help you see the whole process.  To return to your graphical reprort, click the lower X button on the upper right corner

Before you can begin using the Graphical Report you will need to take the following steps.

1. Setup your Planning Process Names.

You can have multiple planning processes so you will need to name your Process steps in such a way that they sort in the appropriate alphabetical order.

In this example you have several entries with the same number.  That is ok, because when you setup you planning spreadsheet you will select only the items that you want. Later in this document we will discuss how you run the report.

2. Attach a planning process to a clients Actions.

On the client Actions form, there is a planning process dropdown.

Here is where you tell Junxure that your action applies to this planning process.  Junxure will then use that action to determine when the last time that Planning process step happened

3. Setup the Planning Process steps that don't apply to an individual client.

On the Process tab you will see a sub tab called Planning Process

Here there are 3 areas.

1. The list of all of the planning process steps that you setup in step 1. 

2. A grid on the right side that will show all of the actions that have the planning process step that you selected on the list on the right.  This is used so you can review that items that have planning process selected.

3. A list at the bottom that shows what planning process steps that don't apply to this client.  To add an item to the list, click the "Add To Exclusion List" button.  To remove from the list you double click the item. Each of these exclusions only apply to this client.

If a client has an item excluded, then the final spreadsheet will put an "N/A" in the cell for that step.

 

 

4. After you have entered the above information you are ready to run your report.

On the main menu, click Reports, Reports List, Action and Graphical Planning Work Status.

That will open the form that you run the report from.

When you first run the form, you will not have any saved templates. You will have to select some steps to print and then put a name in the Save As box, then click Save Planning Template.  This will save your selection for future use.  If you want to delete an existing template in the yellow list, simply select it and click the "Delete Selected Template" button on the bottom left.

Once you have templates in the yellow box, you can simply select a template and then you are ready to go on to a rule.  You can also run any combination of Planning steps by selecting or deselecting additional steps from the white list box.

Select a rule like you would any other rule selection in Junxure.

Decide if you want to include the Action History as a linked spreadsheet by selecting the Include Details Checkbox.

Then finally click the printer Icon and it will create the Spreadsheet package.  You will see some flashing and then Excel will open with your resultant spreadsheet.

You spreadsheets will always be stored in C:\Junxure\Temp\PlanningProcess assuming that you have selected C:\Junxure as you path to local install.
